Refurbishment of The White Horse Inn...

We are delighted to announce that the final stage of our refurbishment is now completed.

Normal service resumed on Thursday 3rd November but there was a re-opening party for locals and regulars on the evening of Wednesday 2nd when canapés and champagne were served to the guests as they arrived. A jazz band was playing in the restaurant and the whole pub was full to overflowing. For the first time ever we had all carparks full and cars parked both sides of the road for about a hundred yards in either direction.

We have had the bar and restaurant completely refurbished and the rest room facilities have all been upgraded and refurbished as well.  For this period the pub, restaurant and B&B were completely closed but the results were well worth the wait.

We look forward to welcoming back all our old friends and welcoming for the first time many new ones.

New Signage at The White Horse...

Danny & Tara Adams, Landlord and Landlady of The White Horse have commissioned new signage from Wadworths Brewery and went to see the work for the first time. "We have signed and datedthe main name board in the corner so that in years to come people will be able to answer the question who was at the pub when that was done", said Tara.

The pub is slowly going through an extensive refurbishment which started with the accomodation wing. There then followed the kitchens, installing the latest equipment throughout, all finished to the highest of standards. The existing signage was looking tired and a little dated so we approached Wadworths who supply us with our permanent real ale, the award winning Wadworths 6X, who agreed to supply the new signage.
